9-05-09- Feufollet was honored to be invited to perform for the 2009 Congrés Mondial, the quadrennial gathering of the world's Acadian people. We shared the stage with Acadian legend Edith Butler, debonair rising star and chanteur Pascal LeJeune and our very own homeboy, Cajun-Acadian superstar/bard Zachary Richard (not to mention many others).

With the help of a generous travel grant from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, we were able to tour New Brunwick during the Congrés, and share South Louisiana's unique francophone traditions with our Acadian cousins.

Stay tuned for photos from the trip!

3-10-09- Feufollet continues to receive press recognition for their latest release, Cow Island Hop (Valcour Records). Offbeat Magazine recently selected the album as one of the 20 Best Louisiana Albums of 2008, as well as nominating the band for Best Cajun Band of 2008. In addition, Feufollet has been nominated, along with Beausoleil and The Pine Leaf Boys, for best Cajun Band of 2008 for the Big Easy Awards, an annual production organized by New Orleans's Gambit Weekly.

3-05-09- Feufollet on NPR Again! Nick Spitzer, host of American Routes, recently had the band perform for the 10th Anniversary celebration of his nationally syndicated show. To listen to the broadcast version, click here.

12-20-08 - Feufollet on NPR! Don't let her composed radio personality fool you. Melissa Block parties harder and dances better than just about any journalist we've ever seen. Click here for the great follow-up about boudin and the mysterious other version of "Femme l'a dit."

2-12-08 - We were recently pleasantly surprised to find out that Feufollet will be featured on Nick Spitzer's upcoming "Stories and Songs From the Road," a selection of highlights culled from his popular NPR program, American Routes. Other artists featured in the collection include Dolly Parton, Jerry Garcia and Tom Waits.
